Nowadays, everyone has a computer and a connection to the internet. It has become a thing that no one could live without. Having a computer and a connection to the internet is like having what to eat every day. With its help we can watch movies, listen to music or watch videos online. We can connect with other people and we say that we socialize. We can create for us a virtual society where no one know what the other person looks like, we don’t know what we do for a living or what kind of people we are. Online we can be anyone we want.
What some of us don’t know is that some sites are dangerous. You can find anything on the internet. Games, music, pictures videos and we can even buy things online and we don’t have to go to a store or just leave the house. There are sites that can freeze our computers. All it takes is one click and it is done. When you search something online you don’t always know on which website enter to look for what you are interested. There are some suggestions but we don’t know exactly if that site is 100% safe. There are many viruses online and they are very dangerous. It takes just one click and you can lose all the information you have on your computer. That is why it is important that you have a good antivirus and a firewall.

There are free online scanners that help you detect if you have viruses on your computer. But this doesn’t help get rid of them. You have to buy an antivirus from a known company to make sure that your computer is safe. If you use an online antivirus you can see if your computer is infected. After you scan your hardware, different colors appear that let you know which the most infected areas of your computer are and which are critical. This means you have to remove them from your computer.

When we click on a website, we don’t always know if it is secure. That is why when you search for something in a search engine, the application you use (Mozzilla, Google Chrome or Internet Explorer) shows you the health of the sites it finds. This is why it is very important to be up to date with all upgrades for any application you have on your computer. It is not too difficult to be up to date, especially because these applications are free of charge and all you have to do is just click help for updates. If a site has a very small health, it is definitely not a good idea to click it. If you think you need something from that website you should probably search for another because it obvious there is a problem with that one.
