Technology has reduced the size of computer and laptop to Netbook and Notebook. Both of these have got almost every feature that you can expect from computer or laptop but the latter do differ from PC in some or the other way.




Coming to Netbook and Notebook, both of them are in high demand due to their ultra light weight and portability feature. Good if we are comparing them with heavy weight laptops but what when we have to choose between Netbook and Notebook? Both of them are for this generation and selecting the one from both could be a tough decision for most of us. Appearance wise, Netbook and Notebook are much alike and has a LCD attached with a keyboard but they do differ in their features. They may be similar in appearance but size wise they vary. Notebook has a screen size between 14.1 to 15.4 inches whereas Netbook fixes its display at 12 inch and that is maximum it has got. So clearly you will find it hard enough to play games on Netbook as compared to Notebook. Processor for both the gadgets is another major area of discussion. Faster the processor, faster the page will load up. Netbook Processor may give you hard time to struggle with 1080 pixel movie and will give you bad movie experience. For gamers who love to play highly animated and realistic games like Max Payne and World of War craft, Netbook is a big no for such games because its screen is undersized. Notebook offers better graphics quality and is perfect device to play such games. Both Notebook and Netbook are lighter if we are comparing them with PC or laptop but Netbook is much lighter than Notebook.

Netbook weighs between 2 to 3 pounds, is small and ultra light that makes it easy to fit into travel bag and to use anywhere without any problem, whereas Notebook weighs between 5 to 6 pounds. As Netbook has smaller LCD screen, it consumes less power but due to the presence of low battery option it is not much affective as in case of Netbook that gives you extra hours to work as compared to Notebook. You can work for hours on a single charge as compared to Notebook. Advantage of ultra light body, small size and long run on batteries is of no use as Netbook does not comes with CD drive and has only 2 to 3 USB ports to use. Netbook can not handle applications that require good consumption of processor. Notebook has CD/DVD drive and has more than 3 USB ports. It can handle high end applications and almost all kind of games can be played on it.

Netbook is a web oriented computer that depends upon the internet for its processing as internet makes the processing need of Netbook less demanding. So if any user, who wants to consume, read data or browse data on the internet should go with Netbook. Netbook costs less than Notebook as it has so many less features than Notebook. Go for the one of these two that matches your requirements and pocket both.
