They are in a permanent evolvement and that is a very good thing because prices can stay somehow low. If there was only one company that had the monopole they could sell video cards at any price they wanted because there was no competition.



There are smaller names in this industry but they have a small rate and people don’t buy things from them because they know that if don’t have money they can’t afford to make them the best. We all know that ATI and NVIDIA make the best video cards there are today on the market.

Bottom line, if you like games very much and you want to play the new games you must have an advanced video card. Otherwise your computer won’t be able to support the new graphics and all the special effects that games have. Companies try to make better and better games for us to buy and they know that by doing that we will be forced to buy newer video cards too. For them it is a win-win situation.
