Computer storage is a device that helps us keep the information wee need. There are different computer storages that we can refer to: hard disk, flash drives, CDs, DVDs an others. All of these advanced very much in the past years and they still advance. The computer technology is a branch of technology that advances very fast and no matter how hard we try to keep up it is a bit difficult. There are always changes made to computers and the companies try to make them more attractive for us to buy. I believe their best invention is the laptop. You can carry it with you anywhere you go and it is very practical. It doesn’t use that mush space to deposit and you don’t have to be afraid that you don’t have the necessary space to put it.

An interesting component or better said accessory to a computer is the flash drive. At first there was the floppy disk. It was a component that never missed from a computer. Now, the companies don’t even bother of attaching it to the main unit of the computer because it has no longer a use. It was used to install an operation system on the computer. Now, there are CD ROMs that help us do this. The flash drive is a very popular accessory. It is like a smaller hard drive. You can store different data on it like music, pictures, videos or anything else you might need.



The first computer was very big. They said that the main unit was the size of a medium room. The only thing that that unit did was calculations. Year after year, the companies tried to make it smaller and smaller. And we all see that they succeeded. All the components of a computer are made smaller and smaller in size and weight but very capable. In this case, size really doesn’t matter. If you look to a computer and you see it is smaller than others is doesn’t mean it is less advances. Even the smaller computer can be the most advanced device you see in a store.

Today, you can connect a cell phone to a computer. This wasn’t possible in the past. Now all you need is a cable. Trough this cable you can copy from the cell phone to the computer music, movies or pictures or the other way around. It also charges the battery of the cell phone meaning that the cable works as a charger. This is a very reliable thing because the cell phone charges when it is connected to the computer while you do the transactions you want. Of course, it is important to have a cable for your cell phone because in case you forget your charger at home and you have with you the cable from the phone you don’t enter the situation where you need to find a charger before your cell phone battery dies.



In conclusion, trough the years companies try to upgrade computers. Every second that passes means that another thing is discovered in technology. They try to find different things to invent and to create. It is a good thing that there is so much competition between the companies because this way the prices can sometimes be very low. For example, they recently invented the cheapest laptop and it cost only 35 dollars. The price can even go lower in case the company deals with the marketers.
